POPPy is an open academic resource maintained by the Romano Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our principle is restraint: we gather only what is needed to operate the resource and to answer the questions you send us.
What we collect
How we use it
We use the limited information above to respond to your inquiries, to maintain the security and reliability of the resource, and to understand — in aggregate — how POPPy is used so we can improve it. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
Cookies
POPPy uses only the cookies strictly necessary for the site to function. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the resource will continue to work.
Sharing
We never sell your information, and we share it only as needed to operate the resource or where required by law.
Retention
We keep correspondence only as long as needed to address it and to maintain a reasonable record of our exchange. Technical logs are retained briefly and then discarded.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete your correspondence. Reasonable requests are honored promptly, subject to any record-keeping we are obligated to maintain.
Children
POPPy is intended for researchers, students, and practitioners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may revise this policy as the resource evolves. Material changes will be reflected here, with the effective date updated at the top of the page.
Questions about this policy, or a request concerning your information, can be sent through the contact page.
